David Cahill Expert Lighting Consultant
David Cahill is a lighting consultant and directly advises discerning homeowners who desire unique lighting designs and product recommendations for their new build or refurbishment projects.
For the first 20 years of his career, David was employed by several leading lighting companies in the UK and Ireland where he learned his craft of lighting design, installation and products specification on major prestigious projects including high-end residential properties.
In 2004, David set up his first lighting business where he could more closely integrate client designs and then showcase innovative lighting products available from international design houses and product manufacturers based in London, Milan, Sweden and Denmark.
Sixteen years ago, David was inspired to become a lighting consultant. This was partly in response to increasing numbers of requests from prospective clients to advise them directly on their lighting designs and product specifications. The increased personal interaction gave him the drive, energy and focus to advise more extensively discerning homeowners with their new build and renovation projects; and this is where his primary passion is centred to this day.

- Develop lighting designs with product recommendations that are within client budget parameters and sustainability criteria.
